In the rare event that there a manufacturing defect (quality of workmanship, sewing) with either our mermaid tails, swimming suits, or monofins, we will either replace or repair the item at no additional cost to the customer. Defective items must be verified prior to receiving a replacement or repair.

Payments Accepted

We accept Paypal and all major forms of credit cards through our secure processing system. Payment is due upon checkout. Orders that are abandoned and not paid for will be canceled.

ORDERS AND RETURNS

Do you have any tips before I place my order?

Be sure to group your purchases into one order, if you make two different orders you will have to pay twice the shipping costs. Make sure the size of the product fits well, see our size charts. If you have to trade because of a size that does not match, you will have to pay a return shipping fee as well as a new shipping fee.

I want to return a product, how can I?

You benefit from 14 days from the date of delivery of the order, to return a product that does not satisfy you. Please contact us via the Kontact form, in order to obtain the return address of the products. You can then return the product, at your expense, with your invoice. Only products returned to the correct address and returned in a new and complete condition and with the packaging intact will be accepted. The above mentioned deadlines run from the day of the delivery of the order. This right of withdrawal is exercised without penalty, with the exception of return postage. In the hypothesis of the exercise of the right of retraction, the user has the choice to ask for the refund of the sums paid, or the exchange of the product. In the case of an exchange, the return to the user of the products to be received in exchange will be at his expense.

My order is incorrect or incomplete, what should I do?

You open your package and find that your order has one of the following problems:
     
  • It’s incomplete.
  •  
  • One or more items do not match what you ordered.
Please send us an e-mail via our Kontact form . Please give us your order number. The procedure to solve your problem will be detailed by our service as soon as possible.

Refunds

After returning an item, you should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (3 – 5 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (1 – 2 business days), and the time it takes your bank, credit card, or other payment method to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). (Paypal refunds are instant).

International packages shipped with flat rate shipping in DHL or DPD through the Japan or France Postal Service. DHL or DPD really varies in delivery times. It can take anywhere from 5 days to 2 weeks to arrive. Europe: KR99 International: KR290

Don’t you hate it when you purchase something, sign up for a contest, or subscribe to a newsletter and suddenly your junk mail doubles or triples?  We do too! Abyss Mermaid will never share your information — not any of it — with anybody.  Your phone number, address, email address, etc. are safe with us. Your address is used to ship your package, and if you use a credit card, it’s used to verify you are who you say you are.Your phone number is used to contact you in case there is problem with your order. Your email address is used to confirm your order, update you on your order status, to contact you in case there is a problem with your order, and to provide you with a tracking number. We will never call you with sales or solicitations, we only call if we need to let you know about a problem with an order, or if we’re calling you back to answer one of your questions. If you join our newsletter from the home page or during checkout, you’ll receive very infrequent emails from only us.  Our newsletters aren’t sent very often (less than a few per year), are easy to read, and are easy to unsubscribe from should you ever change your mind about receiving them.  They include announcements about new products, sales, or coupon code promotions.
